Welcome to the Coaching Corner

On this wiki I hope to be able to send out articles and resources as I come across them.  On the sidebar, I have divided it into the following areas: Daily 5, Writing, Reading and Starting the School Year.  I hope to add more as more areas develop.

I have added in some great articles that talk about the coaching role. As this is a new role in our building and we are all working our way through it, I will pass anything along that I come across that may be helpful.

     I have posted the powerpoint that was used during the session on Friday for the workshop on using mentor texts for writing workshop. I have also loaded the booklists that were referred to as well. 

     I welcome your feedback about the writing continuum and the sample writing exemplars from the division.  It would be great to hear others' comments on staff as to how they use the writing continuum in their classroom. 

I hope to download the copies electronically as well as soon as I get them.
